Greece and Italy Join the Hague Agreement

Greece and Italy respectively joined the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement for the international registration of industrial designs on 13 November and 14 December 2023. These ratifications bring the total number of Contracting Parties to the 1999 Act to 73.

The entry into force of these ratifications on 13 February 2024 in Greece, and then on 14 March 2024 in Italy will thus allow applicants of international designs to protect their rights in these territories through a single international application and set of fees.
