UPC Language of Proceedings: English now accepted by any local division
France has now decided to accept English as an official language of proceedings before its local division of the Unified Patent Court (UPC). This language can be chosen in addition to French.
Likewise, English is now also accepted by the German and Italian local divisions, in addition to their respective local languages.
As a reminder, so far English could not be designated as a language of proceedings before the local divisions of these three countries.
NB: it was already possible to use English before the seat of the central division of the UPC, located in Paris.
