Signature of a PPH agreement between INPI and CNIPA

The French patent and trademark office (INPI) has signed a "PPH" agreement with the CNIPA, its Chinese counterpart.
This agreement will enter into force on 1 June 2023 and will allow French applicants to request an acceleration of the examination of a second patent application filed at the Chinese office. The reciprocal will apply for Chinese applicants.
INPI has already signed PPH agreements with the Japanese, American, Canadian, Brazilian and South Korean offices.
