Mauritius Joins the Hague Agreement

On 6 February 2023, Mauritius joined the Hague Agreement for the international registration of industrial designs. Mauritius becomes thus the 70th contracting party to the 1999 Act and 78th member of the Hague Union.

The entry into force of this ratification on 6 May 2023 will thus allow applicants of international designs to protect their rights in Mauritius through a single international application and set of fees.
