Industrial Property Figures in 2020: more than 100 000 new trademark applications!

[12/02/2021] The annual industrial property statistics published by the INPI show a new record in trademark filings, exceeding the threshold of 100.000, as well as an increase in design filings and a decrease in patent filings.

• The number of trademark applications reaches 106 115 (+ 7.2 % compared to  2019)
• The number of design applications is 5 903 (+ 3.7 % compared to 2019)
• The number of patent applications amounts to 14 309 (- 9.5 % compared to 2019)
