COVID-19: ADAPTATION OF THE FIRM’S ORGANIZATION

In order to comply with the measures decided by the French Government to tackle Covid-19 epidemic, Germain Maureau has implemented a specific action plan to guarantee the protection of its employees and the continuity of its activity.
Our employees stay at home and work remotely in order to provide you with the same level of quality of service as usual, while respecting data security and confidentiality.
This working plan, which has been implemented for more than a year within Germain Maureau, is fully operational and allows our employees to remain at your disposal by email and telephone for the follow-up of your cases
In order to limit travel as much as possible, our employees can also rely on teleconferencing and videoconferencing systems available in our Firm to facilitate exchanges with your teams.
As far as IP Offices are concerned, please be advised that extensions of time limits have been announced to take into account the current crisis:
– EUIPO: extension of all time limits expiring between 9 March 2020 and 30 April 2020 to 1 May 2020.
– EPO: all time limits expiring on or after 15March 2020 are extended for all parties and their representatives to 17 April 2020.
