Vietnam Joins the Hague Agreement

On September 30th 2019, Vietnam joined the Hague Agreement for the international registration of industrial designs. Vietnam becomes thus the 61st member of the 1999 Act and 71st member of the Hague Union.

The entry into force of this ratification on 30 December 2019 will thus allow applicants of international designs to protect their rights in Vietnam through a single international application and set of fees.
