Fraud alert!
In recent weeks, fraudulent e-mails impersonating the INPI have been sent to trademark applicants. These e-mails seek to obtain payment of a large fee by using an @inpifr.com address and forging the signatures of INPI representatives.
Although this type of fraud is already known, this new method is particularly misleading and can lead to confusion.
The INPI has published an official communication on this matter.
