Qatar joins the international trademark system

Starting on next August 3rd, it will be possible to designate Qatar in an international trademark or to base an international trademark on a national Qatari trademark.

After the United Arab Emirates in 2021, Qatar becomes the 4^th country of the Gulf Cooperation Council to join and the 115th member of the Madrid system.

The official fees and details of the national proceeding will be soon shared by WIPO.
